Description
This is a vintage Standard Oil White Crown porcelain sign (also known as a Standard Oil gas station pump plate), measuring approximately 15 inches high by 12 inches wide (rectangular shape). It features the classic White Crown gasoline branding: “STANDARD” in large red block letters at the top, “WHITE CROWN” below in red, a central red-white-blue torch/flame logo with “STANDARD” inside the oval, “A STANDARD OIL COMPANY PRODUCT” at the bottom, and small “So” circles on the sides — a classic Standard Oil White Crown gasoline advertising sign.
Made of porcelain enamel on steel with patina and wear: rust spotting around the mounting holes, minor edge chips, light surface scratches, and minimal discoloration. This is a porcelain enamel advertising sign in excellent condition, exactly as shown in the photos.
