This is a vintage Texaco Route 66 porcelain sign (also known as a Texaco advertisement gas pump plate), measuring 12 inches round. It features the classic pin-up Route 66 theme: a smiling brunette in a red dress sitting on the hood of a red 1950s Chevrolet Bel Air convertible with Texaco emblem, “ROUTE 66” shield sign above her, sunburst rays and colorful rings, “TEXACO” in bold white at the bottom, “19 FILLING 20 STATION” below with stars — a classic Texaco filling station advertising sign with Route 66 nostalgia.
Made of porcelain enamel on steel with patina and wear: rust spotting around the mounting holes, minor edge chips, light surface scratches, and minimal discoloration. This is a porcelain enamel advertising sign in excellent condition, exactly as shown in the photos.
