This is a vintage Mobilgas Pegasus porcelain sign (also known as a Mobil Motor Oil porcelain gas pump sign), measuring approximately 17 inches wide by 11 3/4 inches high (horizontal shape with Pegasus silhouette cutout). It features the iconic flying red Pegasus horse galloping over clouds, with “Mobilgas” in bold blue lettering below — a classic Mobilgas gasoline advertising sign from the Socony-Vacuum / Mobil era.
Made of porcelain enamel on steel with patina and wear: rust spotting around the mounting holes, minor edge chips, light surface scratches, and minimal discoloration. This is a porcelain enamel advertising sign in excellent condition, exactly as shown in the photos.
