Vintage Shell Rest Rooms Porcelain Sign – Clam Shell, 11 3/4″

This vintage Shell porcelain sign is cut in the famous clam shell shape, in bright yellow with red ridges and a red border. “Rest Rooms” is lettered in big dark red capitals across the middle, and “Your Shell Dealer” sits along the bottom in red script and block letters.

Shell stations used rest room signs like this to let drivers know they had clean facilities inside. It is real porcelain, made with glass enamel fired onto heavy gauge steel, porcelain on front and back, so the finish is hard, glossy and built to last. It is a fun fit for a bathroom, a garage, a shop or a man cave, and it makes a great gift for a Shell fan, a car lover or anyone who wants to point guests the right way with a smile.
