Description
This Air Ace porcelain sign shows a skull wearing a leather flight cap and goggles, set between a pair of swept-back wings, on a white field. “Aviator” arches across the top in black, “Air Ace” sits in orange on either side, and “Don’t make me walk when I want to fly” runs across the bottom in orange script and black capitals.
It has the bold, tough look of the nose art and squadron patches that pilots have worn since the early days of flight. It is real porcelain, made with glass enamel fired onto heavy gauge steel, so the finish is hard, glossy and built to last.
