Texaco Registered Rest Room Porcelain Sign – Extra Clean, 12″ x 9″

This Texaco porcelain sign reads “Registered Rest Room” in big black letters on white, with “A Texaco Dealer Service” and “Extra Clean” on the green panel below and the Texaco star at the top of its shaped green frame.

Texaco began in Beaumont, Texas in 1902, and in the late 1930s it promised travelers clean Registered Rest Rooms at its stations, checked by its own White Patrol. Like every sign we sell, it is real porcelain: glass enamel fired onto steel for colors that stay bright and a glossy finish that cleans up with a damp cloth. It is just right on a bathroom door at home, in a shop or garage, or in a man cave, and makes a fun gift for anyone who loves gas station history.
