Description
Few states are as proud of their flag as Texas. This vintage Texas Flag porcelain sign is cut in the shape of the state, with the white Lone Star on the blue band and the white and red stripes filling out the rest, in bright red, white and blue on an 11 3/4″ x 11 3/4″ panel with excellent color and porcelain.
The Lone Star flag was adopted by the Republic of Texas in 1839 and became the state flag when Texas joined the Union in 1845. Today it flies over ranches, ballparks, front porches and roadside stores all across the state. This sign is real porcelain, made with glass enamel fired onto heavy gauge steel in a classic old design, for a hard, glossy finish built to last. It’s a great piece for a garage, a ranch house, a man cave or any Texan’s wall, and it makes a fine gift for someone who moved away.
