Description
This vintage Union 76 porcelain sign is the classic look in its simplest form: a big italic navy “76” outlined in white across a bright orange circle. “Union” sits across the top and “Gasoline” runs along the bottom in white capitals, with a navy and white ring around the edge.
The Union Oil Company of California started selling 76 gasoline in 1932, and the orange and blue colors became a fixture at stations up and down the West Coast. Like every sign we sell, it is real porcelain: glass enamel fired onto steel for colors that stay bright and a glossy finish that cleans up with a damp cloth. The bright orange pops on a garage wall, in a shop or a man cave, and it makes a great gift for a Union 76 fan or anyone who loves classic gas station signs.
