Browning Bugs Bunny and Elmer Fudd Porcelain Sign – 1954, 12″

This Browning porcelain sign shows Elmer Fudd in his green hunting cap aiming a shotgun down a rabbit hole while Bugs Bunny sneaks up right behind him with a grin. The Browning buckmark logo and “Browning” sit at the top, and “1954” and “Made in USA” run along the bottom in black on a bright yellow field.

Browning has been making rifles and shotguns since the 1800s, and Elmer has been hunting that wascally wabbit since 1940. Like every sign we sell, it is real porcelain: glass enamel fired onto steel for colors that stay bright and a glossy finish that cleans up with a damp cloth. The yellow, green and gray colors look fun in a gun room, a hunting cabin, a kid’s room or a man cave, and it makes a great gift for a hunter, a Browning owner or a Looney Tunes fan.
