Description
This Shelby porcelain sign shows a coiled cobra rising to strike over red and navy stripes in the center. “Shelby” arches across the top and “Cobra” curves along the bottom in big white letters on a navy ring dotted with red circles, with “G.T. 500” on the left and “1962” on the right.
Carroll Shelby built the first Cobra in 1962, and the Shelby G.T. 500 Mustang followed a few years later as one of the meanest muscle cars ever built. It is real porcelain, made with glass enamel fired onto heavy gauge steel, so the finish is hard, glossy and built to last. It is a great fit for a garage, a car shop or a man cave, and it makes a perfect gift for a Shelby owner, a Mustang fan or anyone who loves American muscle.
