Vintage Mobilgas Pegasus Porcelain Sign – Die-Cut, 17″ x 12 1/2″

This vintage Mobilgas porcelain sign is cut out in the shape of the famous red flying horse, Pegasus, galloping over a bank of white clouds. “Mobilgas” is lettered in bold black across the clouds below him.

Mobil’s red Pegasus became one of the best known gas station logos in America, and this cut-out shape gives it real movement on the wall. It is real porcelain, made with glass enamel fired onto heavy gauge steel, porcelain on front and back, so the finish is hard, glossy and built to last. The red, white and black look is great in a garage, a shop, a bar or a man cave, and it makes a perfect gift for a Mobil fan, a car lover or anyone who loves classic gas station signs.
