Vintage Phillips 66 Porcelain Sign – Cowboy Mickey, Won the West, 12″

This vintage Phillips 66 porcelain sign shows Mickey Mouse as a cowboy in a brown hat, red bandana and blue jeans, holding a coiled rope. The Phillips 66 shield sits at the top on a blue sky, and “Go With the Gasoline That Won the West” is lettered in red on a white field beside him.

Phillips 66 opened its first station in Wichita, Kansas in 1927, and its orange and black shield became a familiar sight on Western highways. It is real porcelain, made with glass enamel fired onto heavy gauge steel, porcelain on front and back, so the finish is hard, glossy and built to last. The blue, red and white colors look great in a garage, a game room, a kid’s room or a man cave, and it makes a fun gift for a Disney fan, a Phillips 66 fan or anyone who loves a good cowboy.
