Mobilgas Porcelain Sign – Fill Up With Mobilgas, 11 3/4″

This Mobilgas porcelain sign reads “fill up with Mobilgas” in bold black lettering, with “By the makers of Mobiloil” underneath, all set against crisp red and white stripes. It is a clean, simple gas station design that reads clearly from across a garage.

Mobilgas and Mobiloil came from the Socony-Vacuum family of companies, which later became Mobil and is known for the red Pegasus. It is real porcelain, made with glass enamel fired onto heavy gauge steel, so the finish is hard, glossy and built to last. Hang it over a workbench, in a garage or a shop, or give it to a classic car owner who likes gas station signs.
