Vintage Clark Gasoline Porcelain Sign – Orange and Black, 11 3/4″

This vintage Clark porcelain sign keeps things bold and simple: the Clark name in tall black block letters across a white center band, with bright orange domes above and below and a black ring around the edge. It is the kind of clean, easy-to-read logo that drivers could spot from down the road.

Clark Oil and Refining grew out of Milwaukee and built a network of service stations across the Midwest, known for its Super 100 premium gas. It is real porcelain, made with glass enamel fired onto heavy gauge steel, so the finish is hard, glossy and built to last. The orange and black colors pop on a garage wall, in a shop or above a workbench, and it makes a great gift for a Midwest road tripper, a gas station fan or anyone building a wall of oil company logos.
